1st -  Ecclesia Stockton "Style Your Sole Party"

14th - SJC Drug Court Commencement Ceremony 2010

We witnessed the commencement of our clients and other San Joaquin County Drug Court graduates with guest speaker Judge Consuelo Callahan at the Bob Hope Theatre.

15th - St. Peter Lutheran Church eWaste Drive

Thanks to St. Peter Lutheran Church who held an eWaste Drive in their Frontage Road Parking Lot at 4200 Oxford Way in Lodi(95242) from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to collect used computers, cellphones, printers, laptops, VCR & DVD players, telephones, video games, microwaves and other electronics.

 

JUNE

1st - Church Of Presentation June Giving Tree Supply Project

Thanks to the Church Of Presentation Social Justice Ministry Team for selecting the Gospel Center Rescue Mission as the beneficiary of their June Giving Tree Project. The parish collected urgently needed items throughout the month of June.

5th - New Life Program Client Graduation Ceremony at 8:30 a.m.

11th - Bear Creek Community Church Youth's "Love-In-A-Box"

Thank you to the Bear Creek Community Church Unshakable Youth for their annual "Love-In-A-Box" sleep-out fundraiser and two car washes benefitting the Gospel Center Rescue Mission!

11th - "Sing For THEIR Supper" Fundraiser At The Farmer's Market

Thanks to all who came out to our "Sing for THEIR Supper" Karaoke Fundraiser! Singers and non-singers alike heard and performed songs, received raffle prizes and had fun for a great cause. The kindness and generosity of our sponsors, pledgers and event attendees resulted in funding over 1000 meals! The event went so well, that there is talk of repeating it again in the future. We will be sure to let you know.

28th - Walt 'Baby' Love Visits The Gospel Center Rescue Mission

Syndicated radio host Walt 'Baby' Love will be flying in from Los Angeles where he tapes his nationally-broadcasted program "Gospel Traxx" to spend the day with the ladies of our New Hope Family Shelter in response to a touching phone call that he received from one of ladies at the shelter during one of his broadcasts. Walt's visit will begin with a private meeting with the shelter ladies on our campus and continue with a public outing to the Restoration For Life Church Carnival. Are you looking for a place to serve meals to those less fortunate during the holiday season? We would like to invite you to serve the homeless men, women and children here with us. We are serving Thanksgiving meals on Thursday, November 25th & Friday, November 26th, but have opened our meal service calendar throughout the entire month so that both the homeless and those interested in serving them will have every opportunity to experience the spirit of this season of Thanks.
