Our Mission

The Gospel Center Rescue Mission, Inc. is a ministry to the people of San Joaquin County where the homeless and addicted in our community are presented the opportunity for spiritual, physical, emotional restoration and equitable inclusion through the love of Jesus Christ.

We are the oldest operating low-barrier shelter in San Joaquin County for over 83 years!

How We Serve Our Community

Shelter

350 men, women and children sleep at our location every night, keeping them safe from extreme weather and other external threats.

Food

Capable of serving 32,000 meals every month are served to homeless men, women, and children from our community.

Education

Our educational curriculum enhances the lives of our students and offers several tools and skills to prepare them for re-entry to society.

Clothing

70,000+ pieces of clothing and household items are donated to the community each year through our Clothing Room.
